Collectors and Transmog enthusiasts in World of Warcraft will have a lot of reasons to visit the Trading Post once February rolls around.
There is a lot of excitement at the Trading Post in World of Warcraft this February, with a new stock of gilded cosmetics, 500 bonus Trader’s Tender, and the Trading Post Outlet full of returning rewards. World of Warcraft fans will have plenty of things to spend their Trader’s Tender on before Midnight arrives.
The Trading Post is a special cosmetics store introduced in February 2023 during WoW: Dragonflight. Each month, World of Warcraft introduces a new stock of collectible cosmetics purchased with Trader’s Tender, alongside a free bonus item for completing the Traveler’s Log and earning their monthly stipend of the currency.
The Trading Post reaches its three-year anniversary this February, and World of Warcraft is celebrating in a big way. A new month means a new set of cosmetics to collect, and this time, most of the catalog matches one of three themes:
There are several familiar items that are returning from last February’s Trading Post catalog in World of Warcraft, including the Silvermoon Sweeper mount, Fullbelly Rollingpaw pet, Jade Lunar Blade and Polearm weapon transmogs, and Ornate Crimson Lunar Festival Attire – which matches the Lively Pack of Lunar Explosives available as this month’s free reward. Beyond that, there are some new items that don’t match these themes, such as the gorgeous Cloudborn Razorwing mount.
Completing one’s Traveler’s Log will not be hard this month. The Turbulent Timeways event is ongoing until February 10, after which Love Is In the Air begins and runs until February 23. Beyond that, the WoW: Midnight Pre-Patch event, Twilight Ascension, will be active until March. All of these events will have Traveler's Log tasks associated with them, so there will be plenty of extra methods of filling it out as the weeks go by.
However, that isn’t all the Trading Post is doing this month. Like last year, World of Warcraft is celebrating the feature’s anniversary by opening the Trading Post Outlet. Over 200 different items from past catalogs, including returning Bonus Rewards from 2024, and popular cosmetics at discounted rates, can be found at the Trading Post Outlet vendors, so there will be plenty of things for players to spend their Trader’s Tender on.
Fans who are looking at their thin Trader’s Tender wallets in horror are in luck, as players can earn an extra 500 Trader’s Tender in February by filling out their Traveler’s Log. While it won’t be nearly enough to buy everything, it could be the difference between missing out on a rare Trading Post item for a long time. Gamers who haven't gotten their Trader's Tender stipend from World of Warcraft in January should definitely make sure to do so in order to grab an extra item or two.
Players looking to buy a few more things from the Trading Post might want to pre-purchase World of Warcraft: Midnight if they haven’t already. Each edition grants a larger amount of extra Trader’s Tender, with the Epic Edition including a whopping total of 1,000. Getting this premium version of Midnight will also grant three days of early access to the expansion, meaning these fans will actually be able to go to Silvermoon, Eversong Woods, and beyond before the end of February.
