Every Monthly Game Added To PS Plus

Sony launched the new era of PlayStation Plus in June 2022, combining the previous version with PS Now. Although the latter subscription service was around for a long time, PS Now struggled to get over its early negative reputation, so a revamp was needed to wipe the slate clean. PS Plus has been way more successful and reliable.
PS Plus is split into three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Essential unlocks PlayStation's online features, along with providing a couple of free monthly games. Along with Essential's offerings, Extra grants access to hundreds of PS5 and PS4 games; meanwhile, Premium extends the lineup to include older consoles. Each month, Sony adds a bunch of new PS Plus games to each tier, including first-party PS5 exclusives, third-party juggernauts, PS VR2 games, and indie darlings. Some months are better than others, but they all tend to include a couple of standouts. What are all the monthly games that have been added to PS Plus?
Updated November 5, 2025 by Mark Sammut: The new PS Plus games for November 2025 are available to download, so we've updated the Essential section to highlight these newcomers. Pick them up while you can.
Free PS Plus Essential Games For November 2025
Stray (PS5/PS4); WRC 24 (PS5); Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (PS5/PS4)
PS Plus’ free games for November 2025 are ready and waiting to be added to your library, and the lineup is decent but not necessarily exciting. Stray, EA Sports WRC, and TABS are the chosen ones for this month, and they are all solid by most metrics. Honestly, this selection's strongest asset is its diversity, as each game caters to a different audience. Stray is a relatively short single-player game that casts you as a cat that ends up in an underground world filled with robots, and it sets out to find a route back home. Along the way, players get to explore a unique world from a unique perspective, all the while engaging in platforming and some combat. Stray is a delight and well worth a playthrough if you have yet to give it a go.
EA Sports WRC is, well, a racing game. The "24" part refers to an update that added cars from the 2024 season, but the base game came out in 2023. As far as rally games are concerned, WRC is not only one of the best recent releases, but also one of the most accessible. Even compared to other sims, these types of games can be really unforgiving to new players, but WRC 24 has an OK onboarding process.
Finally, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is a physics-based multiplayer game that has been around for a long time and has been available on other subscription services before. Still, this title is fun and a good way to spend a few hours; heck, it might become a staple of your weekly gaming routine.
All Monthly Games That Were Free On PS Plus Essential
Past PS Plus Games Include Lies Of P, Diablo, Dragon Age, And More
Formerly known as just PS Plus, Essential is the minimum required to play online multiplayer on the PS5 or PS4. Every month, the tier rotates a couple of new free PS Plus games. While these titles are only available to purchase for roughly a month, anyone who picks them up can continue to play them after that point as long as they have an active subscription.
All Games That Were Added To PS Plus Extra
PS5 And PS4 Games
PS Plus Extra includes a catalog featuring hundreds of games. Extra focuses exclusively on PS5 and PS4 titles, and each month expands the existing library with roughly 10 to 20 new additions. Unlike Essential, PS Plus Extra games are available indefinitely, although some could be removed after spending a few months on the service.
PS Plus Extra October 2025 Games Lineup
Unsurprisingly, PS Plus Extra's October 2025 lineup focuses quite a bit on horror, with the two biggest games being pretty scary. Even if you are not into horror, the month's standout title is undeniably Silent Hill 2, Bloober's remake that proved to be way better than its initial teasers suggested. Revisiting arguably the genre's greatest achievement ever, the remake manages to modernize James Sunderland's journey while mostly preserving the original's atmosphere and brilliant storytelling. SH2 focuses a bit more on combat, but the overall experience is great.
2024's Until Dawn is also a remake of a beloved horror classic, although it is arguably not quite as essential as SH2. If you played the original PS4 game, you might not get too much out of the remake, as the story is mostly the same. However, if you are a complete newcomer, the 2024 version is the way to go.
Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 completes PS Plus Extra's horror theme for the month, and it is a decent first-person puzzle game with a couple of good jump scares.
Now, what if you are not into horror? Does October 2025 have anything for you? Fortunately, yes, as the lineup's remaining titles are quite impressive. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is just straight-up the best game in the whole lineup, but most people have likely played it by this point. V Rising is a really awesome action RPG that blends exploration, combat, and base building really well. Wizard with a Gun and As Dusk Falls round off the list nicely.
All Classic Games That Were Added To PS Plus Premium
PS3, PS2, PS1, And PSVR Games (Mainly)
PS Plus Premium includes everything available on Sony's service. Along with Essential and Extra's games and benefits, this tier includes a classic catalog of PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP games, along with some PS4 remasters. Premium's monthly additions have been inconsistent so far, and it is not unusual for a month to go by with barely any classic additions to the tier.
Although most lineups contain only a handful of classics, PS Plus Premium has been steadily enhancing its old-school library, particularly when it comes to PSP and PS1 releases. The games might not all be bona fide masterpieces, but the selection covers both well-known and obscure properties.
PS Plus Premium October 2025 Game Lineup
The October 2025 PS Plus classic monthly game is Tekken 3, which is just one of the greatest fighting games of all time. Yeah, only one title is a bit disappointing, but it is difficult to find a PS1 game more beloved than Tekken 3.
