All Merchant Locations In Clair Obscur Expedition 33

The journey across the Continent in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is seldom ever uneventful, as there are plenty of encounters and hidden secrets at every turn, whether you're traversing the overworld or in specific locations. Thorough exploration is your greatest priority while progressing through the game, as not only do you want to capitalize on opportunities to level your characters, but also ones that can provide valuable items and tools.
A prime example of this in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is merchants, which you can find quite literally everywhere on the Continent. You'll want to locate and buy from as many of them as possible, so here's where to find them all.

Please read ahead with discretion.Updated on December 14, 20205, by Nahda Nabiilah: With the addition of Verso's Draft in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players can expect to find additional merchants scattered around the Continent or inside the area itself. The merchants will sell the normal stock like weapons and the Colour of Lumina, but some only have cosmetics for sale.
Merchants (which are almost always Gestrals) serve as the go-to vendors of various items for your party in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. They're easy to spot by their huge rucksack of items topped with a lit hanging lantern. They each have their own mostly unique series of items on offer, including some that you won't otherwise find during exploration or battle, so finding as many of them as possible is a priority as you progress through the game.
In terms of purchasing from Merchants, they all use Chroma for their transactions, which you can consistently earn during your adventures.
If you ever find yourself short on Chroma for certain high-value items such as weapons or Pictos, you can always leave and return at a later time in the game once you have enough. The merchants will always be in the same locations with the same items available for the same prices, so no need to worry about missing out on anything.
One other unique feature that these merchants have is the option for you to fight them to unlock extra items in their inventory. You may notice certain items listed as "Fight The Merchant" (as seen above), and that means you'll need to successfully defeat the merchant in a duel to make those items available for purchase. The duel in question is a 1v1, meaning you need to choose one party member to go up against them. Some merchants later in the game (especially ones in high-difficulty areas) will be flanked by various Nevrons, so keep that in mind when choosing your duelist.
There are about 40 different merchants found throughout Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, from Lumiere to the furthest reaches of the Continent. While the overwhelming majority of them are Gestrals, one is a Grandis that sells items much in the same fashion (though they can't be fought).
The following is a list in alphabetical order (for ease of search) of all merchants in the game, along with their locations and the types of items they sell.
There are only two merchants in Verso's Drafts and another one on the Continent. One sells normal items like weapons and Pictos, while the other two sells only cosmetics. Keep in mind that one requires a special requirement to unlock.
Upon reaching the Reverie Path expedition flag, you can find Najabla sitting nearby. Talk with the merchant to see the available stock. Other than the Pictos and some cosmetics, you can also fight Najabla to unlock the Bonbim weapon for Lune.
The second and final merchant in Verso's Draft is accessed after defeating Osquio. Proceed deeper into the area to find the Gestral Merchant. The only available stock is cosmetics for the group that resembles Osquio's outfit.
Other than the merchants in Verso's Drafts, if players head to the Coastal Cave they will stumble upon another Gestral Merchant. This one is located outside the cave's entrance on the Continent and sells the Chic sets cosmetics for all the characters.
