Combining niche with the well-established, November has an eclectic selection of upcoming PC games. In terms of other franchise projects, November 2024 has Microsoft Flight S i mulator 2024, Farming Simulator 25, and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. All three titles are big deals in their own right, and they cater to wildly different audiences. The latter is also the first of two remake Dragon Quest packages Square Enix is planning to publish over the coming year.
While initially set for September 2024, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was postponed to November, and early reports are suggesting that open-world survival game will be pretty great. The project has had a tough development cycle. People craving a more family-friendly option should keep an eye on LEGO Horizon Adventures.
Ending the year on a relatively high note by typical December standards, the month has a couple of big games during its first two weeks. Marvel Rivals seems set to be the next huge multiplayer project, one that could and should take the hero shooter genre by storm.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle looks great, and MachineGames' track record is consistent. The first-person angle might not be to everyone's tastes, but the studio has mastered that genre. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is receiving a remaster compilation, and Fairy Tail 2 should be another decent turn-based JRPG.
