Frequently asked questions

Is Another Eden Begins a gacha game?

It is marketed as a single-player RPG, but its monthly character DLC rollout has drawn comparisons to gacha-style retention mechanics, and players on Reddit have asked directly whether it is 'still a gacha.' Source

How is Another Eden Begins related to the original Another Eden mobile game?

It's an adaptation of the mobile gacha game reworked as a standalone single-player release; some players feel it's too similar to the gacha version without enough changes to justify the port. Source

How many playable characters does the base game have?

19 playable characters without DLC, fewer than the original mobile game's roster. Source

Is there Day One DLC and how much does it cost?

Yes — a Day One DLC/season pass costs $45 (the same as the base game), with additional characters released monthly rather than all at once; individual character packs cost around $10 for 2 characters. Source

How many endings does Another Eden Begins have?

More than 10 different endings, with a dedicated 'true ending' requiring specific conditions. Source

Does Another Eden Begins have New Game+?

Yes, NG+ lets you start a new adventure carrying over your upgraded characters. Source

Is there a demo, and does save data carry over to the full game?

A demo launched ahead of release, and players have asked whether demo save data transfers to the full game and whether the demo supports Switch 2. Source

Does Another Eden Begins support Vietnamese?

Vietnamese is not listed as a supported language on IGDB; check the official store page for the current language list. Source
