This spell grants increased Poise, but only during the mid-air animation.
When wielding a seal in both hands, this incantation can be chain cast by alternating between the left-hand and right-hand cast buttons, doing so is superior to using the standard follow up cast, due to its shorter duration and recovery time.
Note:As ofPatch 1.07, FP cost reduced from 32 to 24, and poise damage and stamina damage against guarding enemies were both increased.The directional control on the attack was also improved.
