Quematrice

Guide and Information

Brute wyverns with disproportionately long tails. They spread a flammable substance which vaporizes quickly, then ignite it by dragging their tails along the ground. By nature, Quematrice rarely hunt their own prey, and instead scavenge herbivore carrion left behind by other predators. This often leads to confrontations with other, smaller carnivores.

Attacks

Pecking Attack

- The Quematrice will perform a series of pecks with its beck. It can do this move up to 4 times in succession.

Beak Sweep

- After pausing briefly, the Quematrice will perform a sweep attack from the side with its beak.

Tail Slam

- The Quematrice will slam its feathery tail on the ground which can blow away units that it hits.

Tail Sweep

- Using the tail, the Quematrice will perform a sweeping attack as it turns the whole body. It can blow away Palicoes if it hits them.

Fireblight Tail Sweep

- This attack is similar to the Tail Sweep but is empowered by the Fire Element which ignites the ground hit by the ends of the tail.

Rush Attack

- The Quematrice backs away, pauses briefly, and then rushes forward with its mouth wide open.

Spin and Sweep

- This attack is a combination of a spinning move and a tail sweep at the end. The Quematrice will tuck its tail covering its hindleg and after spinning, it will sweep its tail upward.
