There are numerous maps in Arc Raiders, all of which harbor several ARC enemies that pose a threat to all Raiders. This and the other online Raiders can make certain expeditions much more challenging. The game offers a variety of quests that players will have to complete in the map despite all the potential threats.
One of these quests is the Trifecta, which requires players to acquire Snitch Scanners. Not only is this item necessary for the quest, but players might also be looking for it to upgrade their Utility Station. Here's how you can get them in Arc Raiders.
The most common and sought-after method to farm Snitch Scanners is from the Snitches themselves. Snitches are one of the few non-hostile ARC enemies in the game. These drones fly high above the ground and scan the area for signals of life. If you trigger their sensors and are unable to destroy them within a short amount of time, then they send a distress signal calling in for backup. It is suggested not to take on the reinforcements on your own, as these usually consist of three ARC enemies: one Hornet and two Wasps.
If you are caught out in the open against three enemies such as these, then you will surely get knocked out, unless you can maneuver around cover and have good gear, which is going to be unlikely most of the time. Snitches fly out of reach into the sky if you are unable to destroy them, so you will lose out on the Snitch Scanners. An ideal way to destroy them would be to use two weapons and switch between them when you are out of bullets in the magazine. The Ferro and Anvil are good early-game weapons with Strong Arc Armor Penetration that can easily deal with these enemies.
Once they do go down, you can loot them like any other enemy in the game, and you will get a Snitch Scanner. One of the reasons these items are easy to farm is that you can spot Snitches from far away and tag them so that they approach you. Once they get close, you can shoot them down for the Scanners.
Snitch Scanners can be recycled into ARC Alloys and Electrical Components. However, their practical use is what makes them unique. These items can be used to call in an ARC from the sky on the area where you throw them. If you have multiple of these, you can throw all of them one by one at an enemy raider team and watch as the ARC enemies target and make quick work of them.
