The altar is found on the second level. To reach the altar, you must pull the lever to make the iron door rise, and use it as a platform to jump across to the second level where the altar is.

As a Strength-Arcane weapon without secondary status effects, it doesn't fit well in most conventional builds but it can be use in a low Faith Paladin build that uses the Dragon Communion Seal to cast spells and damage negation buffs.
With 54 Strength and 50 Arcane , the AR is 883 and 952 while 2 handed.
