In this Elden Ring Build Guide, I’ll be showing you my Euporia build. This is a Shadow of the Erdtree build that takes place after level 150. If you’ve been looking for a Twinblade build that deals great damage with it's weapon skill Euporia Vortex, then you might want to check this build-out.

The Divine Warrior build features the Euporia weapon, a hidden weapon that players can find close to the end of the DLC. This build focuses on maximizing the potential of this twin blade weapon, which is notable for its weight of 8.5, making it one of the heaviest twin blades in the game, rivaled only by the Gargoyle's Twinblade. The Euphoria weapon stands out not just for its weight but also for its dual damage output, dealing both physical and holy damage. It scales with strength, dexterity, and faith, much like the gargoyle's weapons. The Euporia weapon, however, offers superior scaling with faith compared to strength or dexterity. To maximize its attack power at lower levels, players should meet the minimum strength and dexterity requirements and then focus on increasing faith. This high faith scaling allows players to pair the Euphoria weapon with a seal to cast powerful incantations, which are effective due to increasing faith. While the build doesn't center around specific incantations, it provides flexibility for players to choose their preferred spells that have faith requirements. The guide primarily showcases the effective use of the Euporia weapon. However, incorporating incantations like Golden Vow to boost melee damage is highly beneficial. Ultimately, players are encouraged to experiment with various faith-based spells to complement their playstyle and the Divine Warrior build's strengths.

Next, let's take a closer look at the weapon skill, Euporia Vortex. This skill requires about a second to wind up the blade, after which it starts spinning as you walk forward, hitting enemies repeatedly. This spinning attack is similar to the Spinning Weapon skill or the attack used by the Godskin Apostle boss, making it a familiar mechanic for those who have encountered that enemy. Euporia Vortex is quite costly at 28 FP, making it one of the most expensive weapon skills in Elden Ring. While the damage output is decent, the real advantage of this weapon skill lies in a unique property of the Euporia weapon. When you attack repeatedly in a short period—roughly within 10 seconds—you need to hit about seven times when two-handing the weapon. This can vary slightly depending on which attacks count as multiple hits. Once you achieve this, the blades of your weapon will start to glow. It’s important to note that this effect does not trigger when hitting undead enemies or enemies that are already dead. For instance, ghost flame dragons won't help you achieve this buff. Once your blades are glowing, you will receive a flat addition of 35 holy damage to your weapon for about 15 seconds. Furthermore, your Euporia Vortex will be charged up, dealing approximately 25% more damage and shooting a beam in a line, which can hit enemies at range. However, using the charged-up skill will drain this buff, causing you to lose the extra 35 holy damage. The strategy with the Euporia weapon involves charging it up until the blades are glowing and then using the weapon skill within the 15-second window for maximum effect. There is also a higher tier of this buff if you hit about 14 times within the same 10-second window. Achieving this tier adds 70 holy damage to your weapon and extends the duration of the Euporia Vortex animation, thus increasing the overall damage. However, this second tier is challenging to obtain, usually requiring you to hit multiple enemies simultaneously since each hit counts toward the weapon’s charge buildup. In essence, the optimal use of this weapon involves rapid attacks to build up the charge, followed by a well-timed Euporia Vortex to unleash a powerful attack.

In this build, the Euporia weapon is used primarily in its two-handed form to take advantage of fast attacks. This approach not only helps in quickly charging up the weapon but also synergizes with the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, one of our key talismans. This talisman increases your damage output based on consecutive attacks, regardless of the damage of each hit, allowing you to build up significant damage quickly. For casting spells, the Erdtree Seal is employed due to the high faith attribute of this build. At this point, the build features a faith level of 70, with plans to increase it to 80 as more levels are gained. Despite starting as an Astrologer, this build focuses on maximizing faith to effectively use the Erdtree Seal. This high faith scaling allows you to cast almost any incantation that requires a significant faith investment, providing flexibility in choosing spells that best complement your playstyle.

For armor, the Divine Bird Set is a favored choice due to its appealing look and high poise, boasting a base value over 51. This poise level is important as it enables hyper-aggressive gameplay necessary for building up the weapon’s buff and charging the Euporia Vortex. This build requires aggressive play to trade damage and achieve the necessary hits to charge the weapon. While using this build, experimenting with the Divine Bird Feathers incantation may initially seem beneficial, particularly because the helm boosts the damage of this spell and provides additional strength and dexterity. However, the helm also makes replenishing flasks less effective. Despite initial expectations, this incantation is poor due to its high FP and stamina cost relative to the damage output. If this spell receives a buff in future updates, it could become a valuable addition to the build.

Talismans wise, the Two-Handed Sword Talisman is particularly effective, increasing damage for all attacks except the weapon skill. Since the build relies heavily on regular, running, and jumping attacks, this talisman is highly beneficial. The Two-Headed Turtle Talisman is a must for rapid stamina recovery, crucial for the continuous attacking and dodging required. The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia increases attack power with consecutive hits, synergizing well with the fast attack pattern of the Euporia weapon. This talisman activates frequently, providing a reliable damage boost. While the Crusade Insignia is an alternative, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia is more consistent, especially against single tough enemies or during boss fights. For added protection, the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman complements the armor’s defense and the Golden Vow buff, enhancing survivability during aggressive trades. Other talismans to consider include the Shard of Alexander, which boosts Euphoria Vortex damage. However, its situational due to the skill’s high FP cost and long animation makes it less favorable. The Lacerating Crossed-Tree Talisman, increasing dash attack damage by 15%, is also a good choice since this build frequently uses dash attacks to initiate combat aggressively.

For stats, the build includes 55 Vigor, 30 Mind, 25 Endurance, 16 Strength, 16 Dexterity, 16 Intelligence, 70 Faith, and 9 Arcane. Intelligence and Arcane are unnecessary. Strength and dexterity meet weapon requirements, with most points invested in faith to maximize weapon damage and cast powerful incantations. Increasing faith to 80 and then focusing on strength and dexterity to 50 will further enhance weapon damage, making the build viable in New Game Plus and beyond. Endurance and Mind might seem backwards, but it's more beneficial to have 30 Endurance and 25 Mind because the Euporia Vortex isn't used as often as expected. Reducing Mind to 20 could also be an option, primarily relying on it for Golden Vow, while extra Endurance ensures you don't run out of stamina in combat and allows for heavier armor with more protection.

Combining the Opaline Hardtear for extra protection and the Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear for increased holy damage is recommended. This combination enhances both weapon attacks and holy incantations. If focusing on holy spells, consider the Sacred Scorpion Charm for additional holy damage, despite the increased damage taken. Malenia's Great Rune is a solid choice, healing the player when attacking after taking damage, aligning well with the aggressive playstyle. Morgott's Great Rune, offering increased health, is another good option due to frequent damage trades. Radahn's Great Rune, providing bonuses to HP, FP, and stamina, is a good third choice for this build.
