Gypceros
Large Monster
Wyverns that can stun enemies by striking their prominent crests to produce powerful flashes of light. Their stretchy, rubbery hide resists blunt impacts and reduces the effectiveness of shock traps. A smart hunter knows the maneuver carefully around the poisonous filth they spew, which drips from ceilings or down slopes.

Attacks
Crawling Tail Whip
- While facing its targets, the Gypceros will let out a roar, as it turns around to face the opposite direction. It will extend its tail and whip it in a straight line behind it, then 3 more times going to the left.
Flashbang
- The crest of the Gypceros will start glowing as it pulls back its head. It will then start bobbing its head up and down, each with spark effects. After the 3rd bob, it will face upwards and unleash a Flashbang that can blind hunters. It can repeat the same move up to 2 times.
Poisonous Breath
- With both wings extended, the Gypceros will swing its head from the left going upward. Once the head reaches its peak, it will breathe out a poisonous liquid in front of it.
Poisonous DashPoison
Poisonous Dash - The Gypceros will extend both wings on the side and will start dashing in front of it. The monster will also let out a Poisonous Breath as it takes a step forward. Targets that get hit by this attack will receive the Poison status effect. The Gypceros can repeat this move up to 3 times by dashing in different directions.
Poisonous Peck
- The Gypceros will rise to stand on its hind legs while it pulls back its head and raises both wings on its side. After a quick pause, it will Peck the ground while releasing Smoke from its beak. It can repeat this move up to 5 times, aiming at targets in front of it.
Single Tail Slam
- While facing targets, the Gypceros will quickly turn by jumping on its hind legs and flapping its wings. Then, it will jump up as it extends its tail to slam it on the ground. Then, the Gypceros will retract its tail and face the targets again.
Stomp Attack
- The Gypceros will tuck its neck and bring both wings closer to its body. Then, it will extend its wings to flap once, and then stomp the ground. It can repeat this move 3 times consecutively.
Tail Whip
- The Gypceros will lower its face and wings on the ground as it raises its tail above its body. After a quick pause, it will extend its tail and whip it on the ground. This move prevents Gypceros from moving for about 2-3 seconds.
Tail Whip Combo
- While the Gypceros is roaring, it will position its tail on the left as it jumps on one leg at a time. It will start wiggling its tail and will do a whipping motion aimed behind it, and then end the move with an extended Tail Whip.
Tail Sweep
- While facing the Hunters directly, Gypceros makes a 90-degree turn as it sweeps its tail behind him. It can follow up with a second sweep, returning it to its original position.
